Her Story
Rooted in El Paso
Maritza Perez was born and raised in El Paso and has spent more than 20 years managing properties across the city, from single-family rentals to multi-unit and commercial buildings. That hands-on experience is the foundation of Thunderbird EP Real Estate Company.
She became a licensed Texas real estate agent in 2018 and earned her broker's license in 2026, allowing her to own and operate her own brokerage and personally oversee every transaction.
Maritza holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and an MBA. She is also a licensed property tax consultant and the owner of Chuco Property Taxes, where she helps El Paso property owners protest and reduce their property tax assessments.
Clients of Thunderbird EP work directly with Maritza. That means one point of contact, direct accountability, and advice that draws on finance, tax, and real estate experience together.
